Convert 24P MXF to MOV for Premiere with Sync

I will soon be using the Canon EOS C300 as a primary camera at the first production company I will work in. It’ll be my job to shoot movies with it for the company. Yesterday, I got this camcorder which is really amazing.

Canon EOS C300 camcorder takes what professionals love about DSLR filmmaking. It is able to record 24P MXF. 24P MXF refers to a video format that operates at 24 frames per second frame rate with progressive scanning. Originally, 24p was used in the non-linear editing of film-originated material. Today, 24p formats are being increasingly used for aesthetic reasons in image acquisition, delivering film-like motion characteristics. Some vendors advertise 24p products as a cheaper alternative to film acquisition. And I think, with this remarkable machine, I can be competent for this job.

As far as I got the MXF files from Canon EOS C300, I felt confused. I ran into a troublesome problem – fail to convert 24P MXF to MOV for Premiere with Sync. I shot a project with the Canon C300 in 24p mode, uploaded the files on my hard drive. When I drag a clip to Premiere Pro, its audio is out of sync with the footage. I felt worried and didn’t know how to fix it until I tried Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac.

Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac perfectly converts MXF files with 2, 4, 8 or more audio channels to MP4, AVI, MKV, MOV, ProRes. You don’t need to worry about the loss of the sounds any more! Besides the conversion of Multi-track MXF videos, you may also convert MXF files to MKV, MP4, MOV, AVI, WMA, SWF etc for Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Premiere and countless programs and device!

Step1: Import or drag Multi-track files.
When you start Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac, its clear instruction in the main interface is clearly to show you the main function icon. You can add or drag the file or the folder to it without worrying about it not recognizing MXF files.

Tips: I recommend you to load multi-track MXF files from your camcorder first, and then you can add these files to the software. This is to keep the stability of importing files and prevent the conversion to break off.
Step 2: Select “MOV” as the output format.
I chose Premiere > MOV (AVC) (*.mov).

Step 3: Adjust the specific setting.
Click “setting” to adjust the specific parameters.

Tips: You may also change the codec, size, bitrate, frame rate, sample rate, and channels of the video and audio for your specific needs.

Step 4: Easily convert 24P MXF to MOV for Premiere with Sync.
Click the yellow arrow icon to convert Canon MXF files to MOV for Premiere. With just a click on “Open output folder”, you can locate the export MOV files easily.

Tips: This efficient program supports batch conversion. You can go to sleep when Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac processes batch conversion via a click on “shut down computer” after conversion.

After I got the converted MOV from Premiere, I edited it in Premiere Pro. The edited videos turned out to be wonderful with audio sync. I’m so excited our boss spoke highly of my first work!
