TransMXF perfect transfer JVC GY-HM850 AVCHD to ProRes

Shortly before, a friend recommended me Aunsoft iMedia Converter for Mac. It is an intuitive app which can help me transcode JVC EX255 AVCHD to Apple ProRes 422, ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 422 LT or ProRes 4444 to ensure maximum editing quality and efficiency when working with Final Cut Pro X. Now JVC has announced new HD GY-HM850 which also records AVCHD footage.

We can directly use MP4 and MOV quality. However, as to AVCHD recordings, I always choose to transfer AVCHD clips to Apple ProRes Codec. The iMedia Converter for Mac is the most fastest conversion tool I've tried. Now I am studing the output profile of this JVC AVCHD to ProRes Converter. More than GY-HM850 AVCHD to Apple ProResconversion, I find I can convert  GY-HM850 AVCHD contents to AVI, WMV, MPEG, FLV, DivX, MP4, MPEG-2, WMV9, etc.

JVC GY-HM850 best review

The ProHD GY-HM850 has built-in networking protocols so you can attach available USB modems/Wi-Fi adapters and stream live footage while simultaneously recording to readily available SDHC/SDXC media. The GY-HM850 uses three 1/3” CMOS sensors with 12-bit processing to capture Full HD at up to 60p. JVC’s Falconbrid processor provides the power to simultaneously record two different formats. The camera records to standard formats that are native to many NLE systems, recording to your choice of Mov, XDCam EX-compatible MP4, as well as AVCHD Progressive, and H.264 Extreme High Quality at up to 50 Mb/s.
